Job Description
My client is an established, successful HNW Independent Mortgage brokerage. The company's main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to its clientele. The firms clients are both UK and internationally based.
The company are currently keen to recruit a Mortgage Administrator as they are expanding due to high business levels. The successful applicant will join the team based within the firms Islington, London office, which is a short walk from Angel underground station.
Within this role as a Mortgage Administrator you will assist the firms Mortgage Brokers by administering mortgage and finance cases through to completion. The types of cases will include; Residential Mortgages, BTL Mortgages, Private Bank Mortgages, Commercial Mortgages, Bridging Finance, Development Finance, Overseas Mortgages, Expat Mortgages, Foreign National Mortgages and Lombard Loans. Plus providing administration assistance regarding associated protection products.
Working hours within the role are on a Monday to Friday only basis and are 9:00am to 17:30pm.

Day to day responsibilities;
On application / post application:
- The cases will be fully packaged by the firms Mortgage Brokers. The Mortgage Administrator must ensure all cases are compliant and that they are added onto the CRM system suitably
- Chasing underwriters for updates
- Working with the Mortgage Brokers to compile answers to any underwriting queries
- Responding to any compliance queries
- Attend weekly meetings with the Mortgage Brokers to ensure all cases are flowing efficiently
Post Offer:
- Mortgage Administrator to provide offer documents to the client, with the offer invoice
- Liaise with solicitors to ensure all cases are flowing efficiently
Post Completion:
- Mortgage Administrator to provide completion invoice to the client and claim procuration fees
- Completion checks; via the CRM
Other duties:
- Arranging for BDM’s of lenders to visit the office
- Additionally working with the CEO on their cases (which are frequently of large value and are often complex cases)
Required Experience;
Direct industry experience as a Mortgage Administrator / Paraplanner / Case Manager (preferably gained within the independent brokerage sector)

The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary of between £25,000 and £35,000 which is negotiable based on skill-set/ability/role experience, plus benefits.
